Palm Field Production
One hectare planted with over 2500 palm trees and ornamental plants ready to sell. The area is fully fenced and has automated drip irrigation. Seller can be contracted to assist in the continuity of the business and existing trained personnel is available to help the new buyer in providing a smooth transition with continued production and maintenance.
The palm field production is situated within the property Palmar del Solis, occupying 1 hectare (2 acres), fenced in by 400 mts. of wire mesh, with drip irrigation for each palm. The water is pumped from a lake, within the property, by an electric pump. The three ornamental palm species are: Butia capitata/odorata, Syagrus romanzofianum, and Washingtonia robusta, which are the palms most used for landscaping in Uruguay, especially in all the nearby seaside resorts. The palm trees are at different stages of growth: 1 year old seedlings, up to mature palms 6 meters high and 4 meters of clear trunk. Prices fetched by all the production increase as the palms grow, boosting the owner's potential profit. The plants can be relocated to other nurseries/landscaping designers, while at the same time using them for decorative landscaping on the property itself giving it added value. We also invite customers interested in buying wholesale to visit the farm and tag the tress that best suit their projects. Transport and planting can be coordinated.
